The Eckhardt Foundation evolved from an annual scholarship, to a 501 (c)c (3) non-profit organization. For years funds donated have provided scholarships to Norwood High School graduates as they seek further education. Over the years the Eckhardt family saw unmet needs within the community. As a result, the Eckhardt Foundation was created. The goal is to provide direct funds to foster community engagement and provide support for those most in need. We look forward to this new adventure with the incredible members of our community.
Our Story…
In addition to providing scholarships, the foundation believes it’s important to strengthen organizations that foster community engagement. We are honored to provide financial support to the Greater Norwood Community. Most recently donations have been granted to the Norwood Senior Center, public school families, Boston Bear Cubs, and local scholarship funds.
